Lone has an MA in Business and Marketing and twenty five years experience in international market research and consultancy covering a range of product areas, countries and regions.

Lone has been employed by BSRIA since 1996 and has been responsible for all IT network and cabling projects since 1998. Lone’s team has undertaken a wide range of research in structured cabling in local area networks and data centres.

She has been responsible for several studies covering convergence – IoT in commercial buildings. The reports look at uptake, key trends and new technologies and the latest hot topics that quantify the IoT connections for data, wireless access points and building service products.

Lone has since yearly 2017 included BACS in her portfolio.
